Associate Staff Analog Design Engineer (IoT)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; hybrid work

Salary: $124,600–$231,400 annual base pay, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, analyze, and implement analog and mixed-signal circuits for wireless communication ICs.
• Define architectures, create schematics, run simulations, and supervise layout.
• Develop analog and mixed-signal blocks including ADCs, DACs, DC/DC converters, comparators, temperature sensors, LDOs, GPIOs, and on-chip sensing circuits.
• Perform laboratory measurements and validate integrated circuits.
• Support efficient production test development and customer support.
• Collaborate as a technical leader and mentor junior analog and mixed-signal designers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent training.
• 5+ years of experience developing mixed-signal ICs; an advanced degree may reduce the required experience.
• Experience with analog IC circuit design in a CAD environment.
• Strong knowledge of analog and mixed-signal concepts, simulation, and testing techniques.
• Working knowledge of UNIX, Matlab, and circuit simulation tools.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with analog and mixed-signal circuits for IoT ICs, including data converters, oscillators, and integrated power management.
• Experience leading analog and mixed-signal designers.
• Low-power design and advanced technology-node IC design experience.
• Behavioral modeling with Verilog or VerilogA and programming or scripting with Matlab, C, Tcl, Perl, or SKILL.
• Experience with AI-powered tools for productivity, analysis, and decision-making.
