TL;DR
Senior Account Executive (IBM Mainframe): Driving mainframe product sales to named enterprise customers in the Americas with an accent on observability and ITOM/ITSM disciplines. Focus on developing comprehensive sales strategies, expanding existing accounts, and leveraging Agentic AI tools to drive C-Suite proposals.
Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States; East or Central regions preferred)

What you will do
- Execute business plans to generate pipeline and revenue within the assigned territory.
- Drive direct sales engagements and expand existing enterprise accounts.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Sales Engineering, and Services teams to create compelling business propositions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and regional partners.
- Manage territory forecasts and sales documentation using Salesforce CRM.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales (SaaS preferred).
- Working knowledge and selling experience in the IBM Mainframe space.
- Based in the United States (East or Central regions preferred).
- Proficiency in applying generative and Agentic AI tools for research, outreach, and proposals.
- Ability to travel approximately 25%.
Nice to have
- 7+ years of experience selling into Enterprise IBM Mainframe accounts.
- Experience in Financial Services and Healthcare sectors.
- Knowledge of observability platforms such as Splunk, DataDog, ServiceNow, Dynatrace, or Elastic.
- History of success within a global company with a broad product portfolio.
