What you will do

• Review and resolve accounts that failed coding and charging related claim edits, including medical necessity and NCCI/OCE/MUE exceptions.
• Conduct payor audits and research government regulations to ensure accurate error resolution and billing.
• Perform daily assessment and reconciliation of blood bank reports and supply chain charge validation.
• Collaborate with department members to establish work plans and provide education on correct charge capture and coding processes.
• Analyze work queues to identify root causes of payer issues and denials.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience in hospital or physician revenue cycle, billing, or coding.
• Ability to adhere to strict ethical and legal standards, including HIPAA compliance.
