What you will do

• Research MVA claim payments using proprietary software and online medical websites.
• Acquire medical records and provider notes to submit hospital claims for reimbursement.
• Follow up with payers to ensure accurate information and prompt claim resolution.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive MVA billing packets to insurance companies.
• Communicate with patients and insurance adjusters regarding claim status and resolution probability.
• Analyze EOBs to determine appropriate actions for claim balances after resolution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Associate or Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in healthcare billing or collections.
• 1+ years of experience with MVA claim resolution preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Intermediate understanding of insurance payer/provider claims processing for MVA.
• Regular and predictable attendance required.
