Salary: $124,000–$193,000 USD

What you will do
- Build, test, and integrate LLM-based systems, RAG pipelines, agents, and orchestration layers.
- Implement systems for structured information extraction, content classification, and alignment with organizational ontologies.
- Contribute to a shared AI platform with a focus on reuse, maintainability, and developer experience.
- Translate well-defined requirements into production-quality AI components.
- Optimize AI systems for performance, cost, and reliability.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering partners on technical planning.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Go or another modern backend language (Python, PHP, Java).
- 1+ year of experience building AI/ML systems in production or production-adjacent environments.
- Familiarity with GenAI ecosystems such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, Braintrust, PortKey, or LangChain.
- Exposure to NLP tasks including text classification, NER, extraction, and summarization.
- Basic working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and SQL.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with vector databases, inference engines, or data persistence layers.
- Experience with structured output handling (JSON mode, schema validation, output parsing).
- Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React.
