What you will do
- Drive sales of products, software, and services through all commercial classes of trade within the territory.
- Conduct sales meetings and product knowledge training sessions for customers and distribution partners.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competitive activity, and end-user attitudes to management.
- Document all sales activities, forecasts, leads, and customer interactions in CRM software.
- Attend national and regional conventions, trade shows, and dealer association events.
- Manage territory budget and prepare accurate sales forecasts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of field sales experience.
- Proven track record of success in commercial/industrial sales.
- Experience with CRM software and a positive attitude toward technology.
- Ability to travel as required.
Nice to have
- Experience in security, safety lockout (LOTO), and electrical arc flash safety sales.
