What you will do

• Oversee and supervise a team of claims specialists, monitoring workload, effectiveness, and quality.
• Provide guidance on the resolution of high-exposure claims and coverage issues.
• Assess individual and team performance to develop training needs and provide feedback.
• Review and approve correspondence, reserves, and settlements exceeding specialist authority.
• Collaborate with Underwriters and Actuaries to analyze large loss activity and advise on policy wordings.
• Foster relationships with internal stakeholders, trading partners, and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of industry experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Bermuda.
