What you will do

• Manage a caseload of adoptive families, birth families, and adopted adults.
• Conduct high-quality assessments and develop comprehensive support plans.
• Deliver support interventions and facilitate training courses for adoptive parents.
• Collaborate with multi-professional networks including education, social care, and early help teams.
• Support relationships between adopted young adults and their birth families.
• Ensure the safeguarding and protection of children and vulnerable adults at all times.

Requirements

• Must hold a CQSW, Diploma in Social Work, or equivalent qualification.
• Must have current HCPC registration.
• Strong knowledge of current social work policy, practice, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent communication skills for working with individuals in distress.
• Ability to identify and assess risk and complex needs effectively.
• Must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
