Privacy Manager (Fintech)

Location: United States, Remote

Salary: $125,000–$190,000 USD annually, including base and variable compensation

What you will do

• Build and operate hirify.global’s company-wide privacy program based on the NIST Privacy Framework, including profiles, gap analysis, action plans, and monitoring.
• Lead privacy risk assessments and Privacy Impact Assessments for products, features, and third-party vendors.
• Build and maintain the enterprise data inventory and data map, and manage consumer access, deletion, and opt-out requests.
• Administer de-identification, aggregation, and privacy-enhancing standards for data products and analytics.
• Embed privacy-by-design practices by partnering with Engineering, Product, and Marketing.
• Run the cross-functional privacy working group, maintain governance records and metrics, and support executive and board reporting.

Requirements

• 4+ years of dedicated experience managing data privacy programs.
• Experience building at least one privacy program or major component from an early stage to steady state.
• Hands-on experience with a recognized privacy or security framework, preferably the NIST Privacy Framework.
• Strong knowledge of CCPA/CPRA, US state privacy laws, TCPA, GLBA, PIPEDA, and Quebec Law 25.
• Experience with privacy risk assessments, data inventories, consumer rights operations, de-identification, and aggregation.
• Ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders, manage multiple high-stakes projects, and present to executives.

Nice to have

• CIPM with CIPP/US or CIPP/C; CIPT is a plus.
• Familiarity with OneTrust, Securiti.ai, WireWheel, and data infrastructure analytics.
• Experience with financial regulations and compliance frameworks such as GLBA and PCI-DSS.
• Public-company experience supporting audit committee or board-level reporting.
