Salary: $245,000 – $321,000 (depending on location)

What you will do

• Lead a broad AI/MLE organization spanning ML Engineering, ML Platform, Risk Data Science, and AI Scientists.
• Define and execute a unified AI/ML systems strategy that integrates classical ML and GenAI to support business goals.
• Partner with senior leaders across Product, Engineering, Legal, and Security to identify high-impact AI opportunities.
• Scale AI/ML platform capabilities, tooling, and guardrails to enable autonomous building and deployment by product teams.
• Establish clear KPIs and operating rhythms to measure the business impact and performance of AI/ML systems.
• Drive strategic decisions on build-vs-buy investments for AI/ML infrastructure.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading teams in applied ML, AI, engineering, or data science.
• Deep technical expertise in classical ML, GenAI/LLMs, statistical modeling, and production-scale deployment.
• Strong software engineering background focusing on retrieval, evaluation, deployment, and observability.
• Proven track record of scaling high-performing technical organizations.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Executive-level strategic judgment and communication skills.

• Experience in fintech, risk modeling, or regulated environments with high reliability standards.
• Advanced degree in computer science, data science, machine learning, or statistics.
