What you will do

• Build and scale agent runtimes, including memory, planning, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Design and own RAG and document understanding pipelines for complex insurance artifacts.
• Develop a connector framework for seamless integration with internal systems and carrier portals.
• Establish an evaluation and observability backbone to monitor AI quality, latency, and cost.
• Manage model routing and on-premise model hosting for sensitive data requirements.
• Partner with security and compliance teams to bake governance into the AI platform.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production environments.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript with experience in Node.js.
• Track record of leading AI/ML projects end-to-end from design to maintenance.
• Experience with modern deployment practices like containerization and CI/CD.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical stakeholders and product teams.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of Python and Go.
• Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks, agent runtimes, or RAG systems.
• Experience self-hosting or fine-tuning open-weight LLMs.
• Background in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or insurance.
