Experienced Payroll Specialist (SAP Payroll)

Location: Hybrid in Malaga, Madrid, Barcelona, Granada, Warsaw, Prague, or other hirify.global locations internationally; workation from hirify.global locations in EU countries is available for up to 4 weeks per year.

What you will do

• Orchestrate end-to-end payroll delivery for Danish customers.
• Manage process deviations, assess their impact, and recommend solutions.
• Own change requests from requirements and pricing through implementation, documentation, and training.
• Maintain process standards and documentation, including SOPs, DWIs, and guidelines.
• Handle complex payroll cases, act as the first escalation point, and guide Payroll Administrators.
• Support system updates, testing, UAT, parallel runs, implementations, client communication, and coordination with tax authorities and benefits providers.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in payroll outsourcing or BPO environments.
• Fluent Danish and English.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Payroll or Employee Central Payroll.
• Experience working with international clients and complex payroll operations.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll, Concur, Workforce Management, and integration tooling.
• CPP, CPS, or CPM certification.
