Location: Must be based in Reston, VA or Plano, TX (3 days onsite per week)

What you will do

• Perform application systems analysis and programming activities.
• Conduct feasibility studies, providing time and cost estimates for new or revised systems.
• Collaborate with business units and subject matter experts to identify and refine technical requirements.
• Oversee the design, maintenance, and overall direction of application activities to meet business needs.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software development experience with projects of similar scope and complexity.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of defining JSON schema, REST APIs, and Java.
• Experience with JSON-based databases, SQL, and Oracle.
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
• Proficiency in requirements gathering, business process modelling, and documentation.

Nice to have

• Experience with tools such as XMY SPY and Postman.
