Deputy Program Manager

What you will do

• Act as the primary backup for the Program Manager to ensure uninterrupted program execution.
• Manage daily team coordination, schedules, and action item tracking.
• Prepare and deliver status reports, PMR presentations, and executive briefings.
• Track and report KPIs and SLA metrics to ensure project compliance.
• Oversee staffing activities, including onboarding, offboarding, and clearance verification.
• Support quality management processes, including audits and corrective action plans.

Requirements

• Must possess an active Secret clearance.
• PMP or CAPM certification is required.
• Strong experience in project or program management, preferably in federal or DoD programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Jira, Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and ServiceNow.
• Solid understanding of KPI tracking, SLA management, and performance reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in classified environments.

Nice to have

• Active TS/SCI Clearance.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAM Level I certification (Security+, CAP, or equivalent).
• ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
• Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent).
