What you will do

• Manage and develop lower-level engineering personnel and co-ops.
• Lead new product development projects from proposal to final design release.
• Create product designs, 3D models, and technical documentation including risk assessments and design history files.
• Ensure compliance with FDA and ISO regulations and internal quality procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, manufacturing, and regulatory affairs.
• Review designs for feasibility, accuracy, and technical soundness while managing project schedules and budgets.

Requirements

• Must have full-time work authorization in the United States without sponsorship.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 years of design and development experience.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD packages.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerance stacking.
• Ability to work in varying environments including cadaver labs and mechanical testing labs.

Nice to have

• Minimum of 2 years of people management or mentorship experience.
• Experience in medical devices or orthopedics.
• Experience working in a regulated industry.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or NX.
