What you will do

• Manage day-to-day email and SMS production workflows to ensure timely project completion.
• Partner with department heads to assign JIRA tickets and optimize resource allocation.
• Proactively identify project risks and independently resolve bottlenecks in the production process.
• Create agendas and lead status meetings to align teams on next steps.
• Develop and maintain JIRA filters and dashboards to improve team efficiency.
• Provide on-call support during high-volume periods, including evenings and weekends.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of project management experience.
• Must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CT, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, ME, MD, MI, MN, MO, NE, NC, NJ, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, or VA.
• Proficiency with JIRA and spreadsheet software like Google Sheets or Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and initiative in problem-solving.
• Ability to communicate effectively across teams and build stakeholder relationships.
• Deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Nice to have

• Experience in an agency, nonprofit, or political setting.
• Advanced JIRA skills including creating issue types and workflows.
• Experience with email marketing.
