TL;DR

Manufacturing Lead (Manufacturing): Managing production flow, team coordination, and quality compliance for home and security products with an accent on performance oversight and safety standards. Focus on optimizing production flow, implementing 6S audits, and leading a diverse team to meet KPI targets.

Location: Onsite in City of Industry, California

Salary: $19.00 per hour (approx. $3,040/mo)

What you will do

  • Coordinate daily tasks, conduct shift huddles, and provide coaching to the production team to ensure accountability.
  • Monitor production flow, address bottlenecks, and maintain Hour-by-Hour boards and KPI towers.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, review inspection error reports, and collaborate with QA to resolve issues.
  • Conduct 6S audits, enforce PPE usage, and report unsafe conditions to maintain safety standards.
  • Manage raw material and finished goods inventory levels and oversee accurate order processing.
  • Maintain production logs and provide performance metrics to Production Supervisors.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in City of Industry, California
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Lead role.
  • Proficiency with production tools such as MES (Thrive), WMS, ERP, and Excel.
  • English: Ability to communicate effectively required
  • Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

  • Experience with door hardware manufacturing.
  • High school diploma or GED.
