What you will do

• Lead, motivate, and coach employees within a structured team atmosphere to achieve production goals.
• Enforce strict safety protocols, PPE usage, and general housekeeping to protect personnel and equipment.
• Manage the employee lifecycle, including interviewing, selection, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
• Drive operational efficiency through workflow optimization and capacity analysis.
• Support the Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) process to effectively close audits.
• Develop and communicate departmental performance metrics and provide administrative support for staff development.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to relocate to Blacksburg, VA.
• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled information.
• Associate degree with at least 2 years of leadership experience OR high school diploma with 6 years of direct supervision experience.
• Strong experience in manufacturing (highly preferred).
• Proven knowledge of quality control standards and safety protocols.
• Excellent team management and communication abilities.
