TL;DR

Head of Auto & Detroit (Adtech): Building and scaling hirify.global’s Detroit advertising business with a focus on automotive, mobility, and adjacent consumer brands. Location: Remote-eligible role with significant travel across Detroit, the Midwest, and key industry markets.

What you will do

  • Build and own hirify.global’s Detroit advertising business from the ground up, focusing on automotive, mobility, and adjacent consumer brands.
  • Define and execute regional and vertical go-to-market strategy, including target accounts, OEM and mobility relationships, agency partnerships, and revenue approach.
  • Establish and grow senior relationships with OEMs, agencies and holding companies, dealer groups, and other auto-related commercial partners.
  • Personally lead early-stage deal development and close foundational partnerships that anchor long-term revenue growth.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Creator, and Partnerships teams to shape offerings and bring new video and creator-driven solutions to market.
  • Build, hire, and mentor a high-performing sales team, setting the foundation for long-term regional scale.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in digital advertising, enterprise sales, business development, or partnerships.
  • Proven success building or scaling a region, vertical, or new line of business from early stages.
  • Deep network across Detroit-based OEMs, agencies, dealer groups, and automotive decision-makers.
  • Strong experience with strategic partnerships and complex deal structures, not just transactional media sales.
  • Background in video, CTV, social platforms, or creator-driven ecosystems strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguity and build structure where none exists.
