What you will do

• Own platform strategy, OKRs, and backlog management to drive financial performance and service resilience.
• Lead and empower engineering teams within agile and DevOps environments to deliver high-value outcomes.
• Define and execute a compelling platform vision and roadmap aligned with Group strategy.
• Provide technical leadership across architecture, engineering standards, and operational resilience.
• Drive the adoption of AI-enabled ways of working, including Copilot and automation tools.
• Collaborate with business, risk, and regulators to ensure secure and scalable technology solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in technical leadership across architecture, engineering, and systems design.
• Proven ability to shape future capabilities through workforce planning, reskilling, and upskilling.
• Deep expertise in DevOps, data, automation, hosting, and integration.
• Strong understanding of risk, governance, and regulatory awareness in complex, large-scale environments.
• Experience in financial accountability, including resource optimization and business case development.
• Must be based in or able to work hybridly from London, Edinburgh, or Leeds.
