What you will do
- Manage and mentor Engineering Managers to ensure high performance across delivery, people management, and technical excellence.
- Optimize delivery processes to meet quarterly and yearly OKRs for customer satisfaction and timelines.
- Collaborate with product leadership to balance feature development with technical improvements and sustainable team pace.
- Drive technical strategy and ensure consistent architectural approaches across dependent business areas.
- Foster a culture of continuous feedback, learning, and high-quality engineering standards.
- Champion the use of AI across the SDLC to improve software delivery speed and quality.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, including managing managers.
- Must be based in or able to work from the London office (Hybrid).
- Strong track record in scaling consumer financial products and managing cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to balance feature delivery with technical debt management and architectural planning.
- Exceptional communication skills for facilitating alignment across senior business stakeholders.
- Experience in incident management and ensuring platform robustness.
