What you will do

• Jointly accountable for platform strategy, OKRs, and backlog management to deliver world-class product and engineering outcomes.
• Lead and empower high-performing engineering teams using Agile development methods and DevOps tooling.
• Drive the design, build, and operation of secure, resilient, and scalable technical solutions aligned with Group strategy.
• Manage technical service and security, ensuring the platform remains compliant and resilient.
• Influence internal and external relationships, including suppliers and regulators, to progress key business decisions.
• Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to make evidence-based decisions and improve customer journeys.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading engineering teams within a DevOps environment.
• Strong expertise in building team capability, reskilling, and strategic workforce planning.
• Deep knowledge of systems architecture, integration principles, and modern software design.
• Proven ability to manage technical services and security within a regulated environment.
• Experience driving focus on risk, governance, conduct, and control requirements in technology decision-making.
• Must be based in the UK (London, Edinburgh, or Leeds) for hybrid office attendance.
