TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Arlington, TX). Must be based in the US; visa sponsorship is not available

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT Disaster Recovery Program including planning, risk assessment, and exercises.
  • Create and consult on Disaster Recovery Plans and runbooks for business-critical applications.
  • Monitor infrastructure changes to ensure Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) are consistently met.
  • Assess technical risks and implement timely mitigation and remediation plans.
  • Coordinate with Business Continuity teams to align IT recovery with business expectations.
  • Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to improve efficiency, research, and content generation.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in disaster recovery or business continuity planning.
  • Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model, IP subnetting, VLAN segmentation).
  • ITIL certification (v3 Foundation minimum) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ITSM best practices and infrastructure design.
  • Unable to consider candidates who require visa sponsorship.
  • Demonstrated success in project management and technical writing.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent military experience.
  • Intermediate ITIL certifications (Service Transition, Service Design, etc.).
  • Experience in leading or managing technical teams.
