What you will do
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive IT Disaster Recovery Program including planning, risk assessment, and exercises.
- Create and consult on Disaster Recovery Plans and runbooks for business-critical applications.
- Monitor infrastructure changes to ensure Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) and Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) are consistently met.
- Assess technical risks and implement timely mitigation and remediation plans.
- Coordinate with Business Continuity teams to align IT recovery with business expectations.
- Integrate AI tools into daily workflows to improve efficiency, research, and content generation.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in disaster recovery or business continuity planning.
- Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model, IP subnetting, VLAN segmentation).
- ITIL certification (v3 Foundation minimum) or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM best practices and infrastructure design.
- Unable to consider candidates who require visa sponsorship.
- Demonstrated success in project management and technical writing.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent military experience.
- Intermediate ITIL certifications (Service Transition, Service Design, etc.).
- Experience in leading or managing technical teams.
