TL;DR

Head of Sales (Fintech): Driving new client acquisition and revenue expansion for the Elus structured products platform with an accent on enterprise software sales and complex institutional deal cycles. Focus on running repeatable sales processes, managing POCs, and navigating multi-stakeholder procurement in capital markets.

Location: Must be based in Zurich or Lausanne, Switzerland; requires 40–50% travel across Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

What you will do

  • Own the full sales cycle for complex enterprise platform deals with ARR typically ranging from CHF/EUR 300K to 800K+.
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline using structured methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger.
  • Run discovery workshops and coordinate product demonstrations in collaboration with pre-sales engineering.
  • Manage end-to-end POC and pilot processes, including scoping and conversion to production.
  • Develop expansion plans for existing accounts to identify upsell opportunities and drive NRR growth.
  • Execute a go-to-market playbook for structured products technology alongside marketing and product teams.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of personally closing enterprise SaaS/platform deals (CHF/EUR 300K+ ARR) into banks or capital markets institutions.
  • Experience managing 6-12 month sales cycles involving procurement, IT security, and legal stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate with a structured sales methodology and articulate a concrete deal qualification process.
  • Capability to lead or conduct functional product demonstrations.
  • Fluent English proficiency is required; French and/or German is a strong plus.
  • Must be located in or able to work from Zurich or Lausanne, Switzerland.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling specifically into capital markets (structured products, derivatives, trading technology).
  • Ability to hold credible technical conversations with front-office professionals (structurers, traders).
  • Experience in scale-up environments refining and building sales processes.
