Engineer / Senior Engineer - Plastic Process Industrialization (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Define success criteria and core requirements for automation solutions in plastic molding and industrialization processes.
• Execute process engineering and equipment projects involving molds, molding tools, injection molding machines, and extrusion systems.
• Develop project concepts and manufacturing feasibility studies while managing investment, production costs, scope, and budgets.
• Drive processes according to operating instructions, SOPs, governance requirements, and global quality standards.
• Collaborate with the global Center of Competence, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Procurement teams to improve manufacturability, quality, and production yield.
• At the senior level, develop training concepts and recommend development plans for junior project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in injection molding and extrusion within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with injection molding machines, molding tools, and extrusion systems.
• Experience in process development, medical device sterilization, and validation activities.
• Proven project management experience delivering projects within agreed budgets and scope.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking, planning, organization, innovation, data analysis, and judgment in complex situations.
