What you will do

• Analyze requirements and design optimal solutions for new features and bug fixes.
• Implement changes primarily in the core C layer with occasional work in Java and .NET.
• Write and execute development-level tests to ensure correctness and performance.
• Collaborate with QA and customer support teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Engage directly with customers to resolve technically complex issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in production-quality C or C++ development.
• Hands-on experience with multi-threaded programming and concurrency patterns.
• Deep understanding of system-level performance optimization and bottleneck analysis.
• Strong debugging skills and ability to navigate complex, legacy codebases.
• Strong written communication skills for technical documentation and customer interaction.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java and JNI (Java Native Interface).
• Knowledge of networking protocols, specifically UDP multicast.
• Experience with low-level socket programming.
• Familiarity with performance profiling tools and methodologies.
• Background in messaging middleware such as Aeron, TIBCO, or Kafka.
