What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Java applications for complex aerospace software systems.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment according to DO-178C.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices.
• Contribute to software architecture, design reviews, and code reviews.
• Develop and execute unit and integration tests to optimize software performance.
• Produce technical documentation and software lifecycle artifacts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java software development.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Solid understanding of DO-178C software lifecycle processes.
• Proficiency with version control systems (Git) and modern development tools.
• Experience with embedded or real-time systems is strongly preferred.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Linux-based development environments.
• Background in Verification & Validation (V&V) with strong embedded systems knowledge.
