Senior Business Intelligence Developer (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement analytics tools and data solutions for clinical, financial, and operational business leaders.
• Gather requirements and analyze business data needs to create reports, dashboards, and self-service analytics.
• Architect and develop new BI solutions while monitoring and maintaining existing ones.
• Write complex relational and multidimensional database queries to meet performance objectives.
• Mentor junior BI developers and contribute to complex projects as an informal project manager.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and document best practices.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Fort Worth, TX.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, MIS, or Business with 4+ years of BI/Data experience (or 6+ years without degree).
• Expertise in SQL, Python, R, or SAS and the Microsoft BI stack.
• Strong experience in data warehousing design and the BI development lifecycle.
• Ability to obtain Epic certifications (Cogito, Caboodle, Clarity) within six months of hire.
• Availability for support by pager or telephone 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare, provider, or managed care/insurance environments.
• Current Epic certifications: Epic Cogito, Caboodle Data Model, Clarity Data Model.
• Certifications in Microsoft SQL, Python, or BI/analytics tools (Power BI, SAS, etc).
