What you will do

• Lead the architecture and development of robotics, PLC controls, and vision systems for the innovation roadmap.
• Apply computer-aided design (CAD) software engineering methods to investigate and solve complex technical problems.
• Develop routines, utility programs, and design specifications for automation equipment.
• Define new approaches for CAD software engineering applications and design parameters.
• Evaluate vendor capabilities and specify materials and equipment required for project completion.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, controls, and operations teams to ensure scalability.

Requirements

• Engineering degree (Bachelor's with 4+ years of experience, Master's with 2+ years, or PhD).
• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization (sponsorship is only available for Principal-level roles).
• Strong troubleshooting mindset to resolve mechanical, controls, and system integration issues.

Nice to have

• Experience with industrial robot platforms such as FANUC, ABB, Epson, or Universal Robots.
• Proficiency in PLC programming and controls architecture (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or equivalent).
• Experience with machine vision applications for inspection, alignment, and error-proofing.
• Knowledge of electrical and control system design, including I/O architecture and safety circuits.
• Experience in regulated industries such as medical device, pharmaceutical, or aerospace manufacturing.
• Proficiency in CAD design tools for mechanical layouts and assembly documentation.
