What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve complex automation failures to minimize production downtime in live manufacturing environments.
• Design and implement preventative and predictive strategies to improve system reliability.
• Lead system-level continuous improvement initiatives, including hardware and software upgrades.
• Provide remote support via service tickets and guide troubleshooting efforts for onsite teams.
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to standardize equipment configurations and improve repeatability.
• Mentor field technicians and engineers on system health best practices and troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US and possess a valid driver's license.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing automation or industrial robotics environments.
• Strong proficiency in programming PLCs, robots, and industrial control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control system failures in uptime-critical environments.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% based on business needs.
