What you will do

• Lead complex cybersecurity projects and serve as the primary technical escalation point for other consultants.
• Drive technology deployment, including connector configuration, custom rule development, and third-party system integration.
• Lead business impact analysis, risk analysis, and recovery planning efforts.
• Design and implement technology build processes, code migration, and source control usage.
• Manage capacity planning, hardware specifications, and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Maintain top-tier vendor certifications and contribute to internal knowledge communities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of related work experience.
• 4-7 years of experience in technical architecture.
• Must be based in Vancouver, BC.
• Knowledge of Security Architecture frameworks such as SABSA, TOGAF, or O-ESA.
• Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, OSI), OS fundamentals, and security technologies like firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and/or CISA.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, GLBA, EU Data Protection, and OSFI.
• Working knowledge of virtual machine environments and relational database management systems.
