What you will do

• Define the vision and roadmap for application integration, messaging/queuing, and cloud services.
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of platform and site reliability engineers to deliver software solutions.
• Drive the migration of on-premise systems to SaaS and cloud-based offerings.
• Partner with application development teams to improve the utilization of tools, processes, and services.
• Collaborate with technology engineering leadership to solve enterprise-level technical challenges and drive maturity.
• Manage hiring and recruiting efforts to grow the engineering team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years of experience developing software solutions.
• 5+ years of experience managing technical teams and performing technical product management.
• Working knowledge of application integration technologies, automation systems, and cloud services.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and supporting tools.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Austin, TX office (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience with Airflow, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate Certification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of security best practices for SDLC (e.g., Secure Software Development Framework).
