What you will do

• Lead and mentor backend software engineers, fostering technical excellence and career growth.
• Partner with Product and Commercial teams to scope, plan, and prioritize backend and integration initiatives.
• Drive architectural decisions to ensure scalable, resilient backend systems and reliable integrations with enterprise software (SAP, TOTVS, Oracle).
• Align team deliverables with the broader engineering strategy to maximize business impact.
• Manage stakeholder communication and represent the team in cross-department initiatives.
• Optimize resource allocation and oversee project timelines to ensure efficient delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience as a Software Engineering Manager or in a technical leadership role.
• Strong technical background in backend development (Python, Go, or Node.js).
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Advanced/Fluent proficiency in English and Portuguese.

Nice to have

• Experience with ERP software integrations (SAP, TOTVS, Oracle).
• Background in event streaming and data pipelines (Kafka, Airflow, Dagster, or Temporal).
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms.
• Previous experience in startups or high-growth environments.
• Advanced/Fluent proficiency in Spanish.
