What you will do

• Drive hardware development for final test and probe, coordinating with PCB, socket, and probe vendors.
• Debug and bring up test hardware on ATE platforms.
• Develop ATE DIB diagnostics programs for high-power networking switches with high-speed SERDES (>100G).
• Design multi-lane 200G/400G SERDES layouts on PCB and substrates.
• Perform Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) simulations.
• Manage and track hardware programs for R&D and Production within the Core Switching Group.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 8+ years of experience, or Master's with 6+ years.
• Hands-on experience with Teradyne UltraFlex Plus tester platforms.
• Expertise in PCB design for high power and high-speed SERDES using Cadence and Mentor Graphics tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug various failure mechanisms in test hardware.
• Experience with extreme temperature testing of ASICs at ATE.
• Must be based in Irvine, CA.
