What you will do

• Perform end-to-end SI/PI simulations for cables, connectors, and traces for technologies ranging from UARTs to PCIe.
• Provide technical input for PCB stack-ups to maximize performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with hardware design teams to implement simulation-driven changes.
• Conduct lab-based correlation on physical hardware to validate and improve simulation quality.
• Design and optimize power delivery networks (PDN) to meet system-level requirements.
• Document and present complex simulation results to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in signal integrity and power integrity engineering focused on high-speed electronics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Expertise in simulation tools such as HFSS, 3D Layout, CST, Ansys SIwave, or Cadence Sigrity.
• Proficiency with PCB layout tools like Allegro, Altium Designer, or Mentor Graphics.
• Deep knowledge of high-speed protocols including PCIe Gen5/Gen6 and USB 3.x/4.0.
• Must be based in North Reading, MA, US
