What you will do

• Operate and support simulator sessions for race teams to ensure smooth and effective execution.
• Rapidly troubleshoot technical and operational issues to minimize downtime.
• Partner with engineers and race teams to optimize simulator usage for competition preparation.
• Maintain workspace organization and adhere to safety and operational standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of simulator workflows and process enhancements.
• Support cross-training efforts within Tech Center Operations.

Requirements

• Associate degree in STEM with 2+ years of professional mechanical experience OR Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology with relevant co-op, internship, or Formula SAE experience.
• Experience working in an electromechanical environment with a track record of exceeding expectations.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Able to work the afternoon shift, Monday-Friday 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM with flexibility for other shifts.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience supporting motorsports simulation, data acquisition, or analysis.
• Familiarity with computer-controlled systems, hardware, and instrumentation.
