Application Engineer II (Electrification)

What you will do

• Commission test systems, including the setup and troubleshooting of test and measurement equipment.
• Implement and tune complex control loops and integrate auxiliary equipment into test systems.
• Act as the primary company representative and technical liaison for customers.
• Develop and implement complex custom tests and provide technical support for sales and project engineering.
• Create comprehensive commissioning documentation and provide advanced training on system applications.
• Manage project execution on-site to ensure completion within cost and time estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent (Master's preferred).
• 3-5+ years of relevant experience in electrification (battery, eMotor, eAxle) or power electronics.
• Proficiency in mechanical and electrical assembly, as well as vibration and torsional vibration analysis.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and drawings.
• Current authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis; no visa sponsorship available.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with test automation equipment.
• Background in programming or testing inverter drives for AC and DC motors.
• Strong software adaptation and modification skills.
