What you will do

• Support data and voice networks including patching, testing, installing, and upgrading hardware.
• Resolve technology tickets related to networking and voice services for employees.
• Install and maintain enterprise-wide VoIP and phone systems.
• Monitor network performance and collaborate with vendors for support and sales.
• Create and update technical documentation for IT staff and end users.
• Manage IT incidents and adhere to the IT Change Management process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 2 years of experience in network management and support.
• Solid understanding of WAN/LAN technology, TCP/IP, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, and DNS.
• Experience with Layer 2/3 Switching.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
• Ability to physically lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, or Avaya.
• CCNA certification or higher-level routing/switching certifications.
