What you will do
- Own the strategy and investment portfolio for the development of AI-native workflow platforms in higher education.
- Partner with product developers to evolve engagement platforms into AI-powered orchestration layers across SIS, CRM, and LMS.
- Fund tools and approaches to codify institutional policy and workflows into machine-readable, auditable logic.
- Advance best practices for AI-mediated interaction, including conversational and agent-based interfaces for students and staff.
- Manage a portfolio of grants and contracts, ensuring alignment with DHSS strategy, budgeting, and reporting.
- Monitor the emerging ecosystem of vertical AI infrastructure to identify strategic investment opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Public Policy, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
- Fluency with agentic and LLM-based workflow systems in edtech and their development lifecycle.
- Experience designing or evaluating agentic AI systems, including multi-agent orchestration and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Deep understanding of higher education compliance frameworks (e.g., FERPA, Title IV) and institutional policy logic.
- Unrestricted work authorization in the United States is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity in product and investment design for underserved student populations.
