What you will do

• Maintain and support MES and other manufacturing-related systems to ensure stable factory operations.
• Administer Windows/Linux servers, Hyper-V virtualization environments, and SQL Server databases.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis for production issues.
• Manage SQL Server backup/recovery, performance optimization, and routine maintenance.
• Support storage systems, file servers, SAN/NAS environments, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Coordinate emergency response activities to ensure 24/7 business continuity for factory operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system administration or manufacturing IT environments.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server administration, including backup, recovery, and tuning.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, Hyper-V virtualization, and basic Linux management.
• Experience with SAN/NAS infrastructure and TCP/IP networking fundamentals.
• Must be based onsite in Reno, NV and available to support after-hours emergency incidents.

Nice to have

• Mandarin speaking proficiency.
• Certifications in MS SQL Server, VMware, or Windows Server.
• Direct experience supporting MES systems within a manufacturing environment.
