What you will do
- Configure, install, and upgrade platform servers and systems software.
- Plan and execute backup and recovery procedures and monitor batch processes.
- Perform capacity planning, workload modeling, and predictive analyses to resolve performance and security issues.
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to ensure expected service levels are maintained.
- Troubleshoot and resolve root-cause issues within the production environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in system administration or IT operations.
- Proficiency in administering Microsoft Windows Server environments.
- Experience supporting virtualized infrastructure (VMware preferred).
- Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and system hardening.
- Must be able to provide onsite technical support in Nashville, TN.
Nice to have
- Experience with Linux server administration.
- Familiarity with enterprise voice platforms.
