What you will do

• Manage a blended team of 4-6 iOS and Android engineers, overseeing goal-setting, performance reviews, and mentorship.
• Define the Trust & Safety technical roadmap in collaboration with cross-functional planning partners.
• Contribute as a player-coach by writing production Swift or Kotlin code for scoped projects.
• Maintain high quality and reliability standards across both mobile platforms.
• Drive the adoption of AI-empowered development tooling to enhance engineering workflows.

Requirements

• 6+ years of mobile engineering experience in Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin (Android).
• 3+ years of engineering management experience.
• Proven ability to operate as a player-coach, contributing to production code while leading a team.
• Experience building high-quality, reliable consumer-facing mobile features.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Prior experience in Trust & Safety, content moderation, or safety-adjacent product areas.
