What you will do

• Lead the development and execution of Medscape’s Reports and data-driven editorial series from concept to publication.
• Partner with research, analytics, and AI teams to design and interpret physician surveys and predictive analyses.
• Analyze quantitative findings and AI-generated insights to identify trends and correlations for credible storytelling.
• Create and edit data visualizations, infographics, and interactive tools using AI in collaboration with designers.
• Develop editorial frameworks for tracking metrics across medical specialties and audience segments.
• Mentor editors and writers on interpreting and validating data and AI insights in their reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in health, science, or business journalism.
• At least 4 years focused on data journalism and 1 year using AI applications for content creation.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and tools like Tableau, Datawrapper, Flourish, or Power BI.
• Experience with databases (MySQL) and computational analysis concepts like regression and machine learning.
• 5+ years of experience with multimedia formats, including interactive graphics and data dashboards.
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in journalism, data science, statistics, AI, or public health preferred.
