Compensation: $29.00 - $32.00 / hour

What you will do

• Write high-quality ad copy for a diverse range of clients and internal corporate departments.
• Interpret member copywriting spec sheets to accurately capture specific brand voices and tone guidelines.
• Manage multiple simultaneous copywriting projects across various member accounts while meeting strict deadlines.
• Develop web, social media, email marketing, and print newsletter content.
• Collaborate with designers, proofers, and marketing managers to execute one-off tactics and full campaigns.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of professional copywriting experience.
• Must reside in the greater Vancouver–Portland metropolitan area.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Adobe InDesign, and WordPress.
• Familiarity with AP Style guidelines and the responsible use of AI writing tools like Claude and ChatGPT.
• Ability to translate complex brand guidelines into consistent, on-brand content across multiple accounts.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, journalism, or professional writing.
• Expertise in SEO, AIO (AI Optimization), and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization).
• Experience writing for the medical field or a background in healthcare.
• Experience working within a membership-based agency or multi-client environment.
