What you will do

• Lead portfolio construction and monitoring for US and Global high yield portfolios.
• Collaborate with the London-based Global HY team on asset allocation and security selection.
• Identify relative-value trade ideas within specific issuer names and sectors.
• Maintain and develop relationships with Wall Street sales, trading, and syndicate desks.
• Optimize and monitor portfolio position weighting relative to benchmarks and targets.
• Communicate investment results and strategies to internal LDI Solutions, client service, and marketing teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in a high yield portfolio management role.
• Deep expertise in high yield credit markets and fundamental credit investing.
• Strong analytical skills and broad coverage of the high yield credit and bank loan universe.
• Proven ability to lead teams of analysts to drive investment decisions.
• Strong communication skills for marketing investment processes to consultants and clients.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Chicago.
