What you will do

• Perform walkthroughs, documentation reviews, and basic control testing for internal compliance.
• Validate financial data, review journal entries, and analyze variances in the general ledger.
• Conduct sample testing against control expectations and maintain organized audit workpapers.
• Review business processes to identify risks, inefficiencies, and control gaps.
• Assist in preparing audit reports, dashboards, and status updates.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams to gather information and clarify workflows.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Audit, or a related field (Junior or Senior level).
• Fluent English proficiency required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Must be based in or able to work in Querétaro, México for a hybrid arrangement.
