What you will do

• Lead end-to-end design direction for technically sophisticated areas including API management and data orchestration.
• Operate as a player-coach, managing a small team of designers while remaining hands-on with complex design work.
• Partner with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders to define the product roadmap and strategy.
• Drive design reviews and critiques to establish shared standards and high-quality craft.
• Thoughtfully incorporate AI-assisted capabilities to add genuine value to automation intelligence.
• Mentor and grow the design team through clear expectations and regular feedback.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product design experience.
• 2+ years in a leadership capacity, managing designers or owning major product areas end-to-end.
• Deep technical fluency in data transformations, API configurations, and automation logic.
• Proficiency in Figma and strong command of design systems.
• Ability to navigate competing priorities and defend design decisions with data and conviction.
• Must be based in one of the listed US hubs: Austin, Boston, Denver, New York, or Palo Alto.
