TL;DR

Sales Development Representative (Public Sector): Driving lead qualification and net new customer acquisition for nonprofit and public sector accounts with an accent on solution selling and technical communication. Focus on designing custom communication solutions using hirify.global's API platform and managing the sales pipeline in Salesforce.

Location: Remote (US). Not eligible for hire in CT, NJ, NY, WA, PA, or the San Francisco Bay Area (San Francisco, Oakland, San Jose)

Compensation: $25.75 - $35.77 per hour (depending on location)

What you will do

  • Qualify and nurture leads within nonprofit, SMB, and public sector accounts.
  • Drive net new customer acquisition and revenue growth.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to design tailored solutions using hirify.global's communications API platform.
  • Manage and expand contact data within Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering to address customer needs.
  • Navigate internal and external obstacles to drive deals forward and recommend process improvements.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of lead generation experience in a technical SaaS or CPaaS environment.
  • Understanding of cloud computing and communications business models.
  • Experience in technical solutions selling and closing deals.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High adaptability and comfort with ambiguity in a rapid-paced environment.
  • Must be based in the US (excluding restricted states and cities).
