TL;DR

Location: Onsite in Buffalo/East Aurora, NY

Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 per year

What you will do

  • Provide production assembly and test instructions, training, and monitoring for flight control electronics box builds.
  • Evaluate, request, and implement production equipment to meet operational requirements.
  • Ensure and maintain design integrity, producibility, and quality standards for all production products.
  • Coordinate with Program Management, Sales, and Purchasing to facilitate technical communications with customers and suppliers.
  • Support Material Review Board (MRB) analyses and implement corrective actions via the Corrective Action Board (CAB).
  • Collaborate across hirify.global departments to optimize quality, schedules, and cost objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (0-2 years experience) OR Associate's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (3+ years experience).
  • Must have access to US Export Controlled Information.
  • Basic exposure to circuit card assemblies (PCBs/CCAs) or cable assemblies.
  • General understanding of electronics manufacturing concepts and workmanship standards.
  • Ability to work 2nd shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support troubleshooting and rework activities.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of IPC/J-STD-001 standards.
  • Prior experience in electronics manufacturing environments.
