What you will do
- Create detailed work instructions based on engineering designs and operational concepts.
- Provide direct support to the production floor for active manufacturing cycles.
- Manage and disposition non-conformance issues to maintain production flow.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements for quality control processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement new manufacturing technologies.
- Advise on raw materials and manufacturing process selection.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or refugee/asylee.
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in a production environment.
- Proficiency in CAD, scheduling software, issue tracking, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
- Physical ability to climb stairs, work in small areas, and lift up to 40 lbs.
Nice to have
- 3+ years of experience as an integrator in the space industry.
- Strong understanding of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
- Familiarity with Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Experience with tooling and fixture design.
